PROJECT SUMMARY:
Hada is the less fancy Japanese word for skin. Just like its name Hada is an everyman’s skin store and spa. With the idea that your own skin should be inviting and comfortable to you, Hada aims to do so by improving the quality of your skin through sauna, steam rooms, baths, or individual skin spa treatments. While making this I had uncomfortable skin challenges such as eczema, which I struggle with myself in mind.
In this assignment, we were challenged to first create a kit of parts and then to create a structure using the kit of parts alone. The given imaginary site was similar to that of Detroit’s Eastern Market, where the surrounding structures were those of our peer’s creation.
