COURSE: ARCH 562 (Propositions) WINTER 2022
PROFESSOR: Adam Miller

PARTNER: Aric Reed
PROGRAMS USED: Rhino, Polycam, Photoshop, Ilustrator, InDesign
PROJECT SUMMARY:
Working in pairs, we were asked to combine both of our previous projects to create a piece of furniture. We were asked to pick three out of four of our combined aesthetic variables and select furniture types that our project would reference.  In this project we used the video portion to illustrate how an ambiguous couple who enjoy an opulent life style might use our furniture, while our in person set illustrated how a person who likes opulence but cant afford it might style and use it. The manual was used to create a reality in which the our piece of furniture has many admirers, creating a cult following, leading to the creation of fan fiction, fan magazines, conventions, or even clubs/ groups. This project was selected to be showcased in the 2023 Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning Student Show (https://tcshow2023.cargo.site/)
